Roaming 2016

On 30 April 2016, roaming charges will come down to the lowest level ever across the EU. As from mid-June 2017, they will disappear altogether as Europeans will pay the same price to use their mobile devices when travelling in the EU as they do at home. This is the culmination of hard work by the European Commission and the other EU institutions to bring down roaming charges to the benefit of consumers and businesses across the EU.
